Our M.Sc. Students Shalu Mathew and Meera Simon C secured Second and Third position respectively in All India Essay Competition conducted by Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implimentation

 
Department of Statistics is one of the leading University departments in India and is committed to advancing knowledge and learning through teaching and research in Statistics. The Department offers M.Sc degree programme in Statistics, M.Tech in Engineering Statistics and research leading to Ph.D degree. .
  
 
 
  • Ms. Anu Susan George and Ms. Meera Simon C Won first and consolation prize respectively in All India Essay Competition conducted by MOSPI.
  • Dr.P. G. Sankaran has been appointed as Pro vice chancellor of CUSAT.
  • Mr. Sri Rangnath C. G. won the Top Poster Presentation Award in conncection with the conference "Statistical Methods in Finance 2016
  • Our final year MSc students had won the third place at National level Project competition for post graduate students in Statistics, conducted by ISPS 2017
   
 

 
The Department of Statistics is being identified by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India as an advanced centre in Statistics under its 'Special Assistance Programme (SAP)' at DRS level II.
