RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

The research group in the Department works on wide variety of topics in theoretical and applied statistics including Distribution Theory, Statistical Inference, Information Theory, Time Series Analysis, Stochastic Processes, Modeling of Stochastic Volatility, Applications of Repairable systems, Chaos and Non-linear time series, Population Studies, Queuing Theory, Multivariate Analysis, Discrete Event Simulation Modelling, TQM& ISO9000, Reliability Theory and Survival Analysis.
